Effective September 1st, Salvation Factory will evolve into the Territorial Mission Strategy Department, within the Office of the Chief Secretary.
While the Salvation Factory team will be going in different directions, it has been our honor to serve The Salvation Army for the past eight years. We want to thank the USA Eastern Territory and the members of this innovative team who have served with excellence: Rob Jeffery, Scott Martel, Tara-Marie Profita, Lu Lu Rivera, and Nicolas Roman. Please be praying for each of these team members as they embrace their future adventures.

Challenging words from Catherine Booth! May we, as the church, be notably different to the world around us!
Fun Fact Friday! By the way, have you seen the great new play, 'Skeleton Army' put on by our very own Arts Bureau? It's all about the early life of Charles Jeffries who started out as a leader in the anti-Salvation Army mob called the Skeleton Army. Hopefully when live theater becomes a thing again it's something you can check out. We highly recommend it! ππ
We serve a God who can do "immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine" (Ephesians 3:20-21). Let's allow Him to empower us today!

Many thanks to Colonel Eddie Hobgood and the USA South Communications Department for partnering with Salvation Factory on this project. Fun Fact Friday! πΌ'It must be nice, it must be nice...to have Morley on your side.'πΆ
A great reminder from General Bramwell Booth - May the current challenges serve to bring us closer to the Lord and strengthen our faith.
In 1919, Evangeline Booth wrote an incredible piece during the Spanish Flu pandemic entitled, βThe Miracle of the Past β The Wonder of the Future.β
In the midst of this crisis, God provided an opportunity which The Salvation Army seized: the opportunity to serve on the frontlines of WW1! They took a loan from the bank - recognizing that the risk of this lost opportunity was too great to ignore.
That bold decision was what is called a "strategic inflection point" - a moment that changed the trajectory of The Salvation Army in the United States. Today, we still live with the after-effects of that bold and visionary step of faith.
As you read this story of the miracle of the past, consider the wonders of the future on the horizon as we journey through the challenges of 2020. God is opening doors of opportunity all around us. Could this be an opportunity for another strategic inflection point? Enjoy and be inspired!
