It's remarkable to acknowledge that Wells Fargo has donated $119 million to Habitat for Humanity in support of affordable and sustainable housing since 2010. I'm honored to be part of company that truly cares about making a difference.

Wells Fargo believes everyone should have access to higher education. I love that my company has invested $107 million in scholarships and programming for diverse students.

I really appreciate that Wells Fargo has a history of supporting women. It's noteworthy to mention that Wells Fargo has given 13,000 hours of technical assistance to women entrepreneurs through our Connect to More program which is dedicated to building women entrepreneurship.

During Women's History Month, it makes me happy to share that Wells Fargo awarded $1.5 million to How Women Lead. It's the largest women-founded venture fund in the U.S. for women founders and women-led start-ups in the technology and health sectors.

I’m excited to highlight; Wells Fargo has committed $150 million to reduce refinancing costs to help minority homeowners further benefit from refinancing.

Did you know that the rate of homeownership among Black Americans is 44%: still significantly lagging the overall US homeownership rate of 65.5%. I am proud to share that Wells Fargo has donated $525 million to help address affordable homeownership, available and affordable rentals, and housing stability. Homeownership rates for black women grew by 5.6% (between 1990-2019), and that’s only expected to rise! I’m thrilled to be part of Wells Fargo’s efforts to support housing affordability solutions for families across America.

It’s interesting to note that the two fastest growing groups among Black homebuyers are Black millennials and Black women. I’m elated to work for Wells Fargo as we work to advance racial equity in homeownership.

I’m proud to share, between 2011-2020, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage helped as many Black families purchase homes as the next three largest lenders combined.
