St. James Town Community Arts is a nonprofit organization that provides free arts education for children and youth in St. If you have any questions regarding St.

James Town, one of Ontario's most populated and ethnically diverse communities in downtown Toronto. James Town Community Arts free arts education and programming through group classes and private instruction to children and youth between the ages of 6 and 18. We are so thrilled to announce our fundraising concert supported by Robert Silverman in commemoration of our beloved late board chair, Sandra Trehub. Come support SJTCA as we fundraise for our music programs that are free of cost to children and youth in St. James Town. Visit the link in our bio to purchase tickets and/or make a donation online.

The concert will feature performances from our students and a beautiful programme of piano music by concert pianist Robert Silverman, featuring works by J.S. Bach, Chopin, and Schumann. Join us in our efforts to make arts education accessible to children and youth.

What a dream come true to work with the for the Opera Makers Program! Our children’s choir enjoyed every moment of it, from imagining the beautiful set design to inventing the fantastical story of the Towering Silver Tree. More clips to come from this magical experience but for now, here are some heartfelt thank-you’s:

- thank you coordinating and organizing this entire experience! We loved working with you and your kind and generous energy!

- thank you for sharing your fun and whimsical music composition process with us. Every song was made memorable by your creative genius. Thanks for bringing our lyrics and story to life!

Last Saturday morning the choir students got the opportunity to be invited to perform at an outdoor musical festival called “Festival on the Green”!

It was a fun experience and the students got the chance to sing their hearts out to show their dedication and hard work over the course of the year! 🎶
