While the objective of both is pain and symptom relief, the prognosis and goals of care tend to be different. Palliative care is comfort care with or without curative intent. On July 26, the Ohio Living Foundation hosted a dedication ceremony for Cynthia’s Garden, a new outdoor space for residents and their families to enjoy at Ohio Living Westminster-Thurber. Named for the late Cynthia White, the garden features an outdoor patio, as well as perennials, flowering shrubs and colorful planters, with chairs and umbrellas. 🎉 Exciting news at Ohio Living Sarah Moore! 🎉 We recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration for our brand new patio space, designed specifically for our incredible team members. Thanks to generous donors, we now have a beautiful outdoor area featuring an electronic awning for shade, comfy seating, flower planter boxes, and lovely landscaping. Our team deserves a space to relax and enjoy the outdoors, and we're thrilled to provide them with just that. Here's to many happy moments spent in our new patio space! 🌿☀️

We need a little Christmas, right this very minute! Holiday cheer is always on-time, especially during the mid-year celebration of Christmas in July. Sharing some festive moments from events that were hosted in the spirit of the season. Relatedly, some of our teams have already started collecting items for Operation Christmas Child, a program run through Samaritan's Purse that sends shoeboxes of hygiene items and school supplies to families in need across the globe.
