CONGRATULATIONS! This smiling face belongs to Ashley Brzozowski, Vocational Coordinator at Berkshire Local Schools. Ashley has been awarded one of our Professional of the Year awards, nominated by Earl Beebe. Ashley is known for her philosophy of “finding a way to help make the kids successful.” Throughout the year, Ashley and her staff utilize detailed data and empathetic observations; Ashley is looking for creative tools to bond the employer and employee to form a productive and consequential pairing that produces conclusive success for both parties.

Ashley is described as being deft at finding the relationship between student and employer that creates a prosperous environment. She also does not retreat when the student does not show instant success; she formulates wise and informed decisions that facilitate realizing the desired outcomes. The employers continuously express that her students fulfill and exceed the expectations that they envision when accepting the partnership with her program and their enterprise. The conclusion for all parties involved is that Ashley’s program prepares her students for post-secondary success.

Her success goes beyond the students. Employers realize that the capital investment in Ashley’s program derives measurable growth with the diligent and persevering students that Ashley helps succeed.

THANK YOU ASHLEY FOR WHAT YOU DO AND CONGRATULATIONS!

CONGRATULATIONS TRACY RADABAUGH! Tracy is one of our Professionals of the Year! She is a Job Training Coordinator at Medina County Career Center and was nominated by Molly Gregg.

Molly described Tracy as a true visionary when it comes to the
possibilities for the Job Training Coordination pathway
of Career Technical Education. Tracy has built several
strong partnerships that afford her students the ability
to gain competitive integrated work experience within
their community. Some of those partnerships include a
full-service breakfast at a local restaurant, Twiisted, and
community service through Feeding Medina County in
the form of packaging distribution bags. Tracy exposes
her students to many unique instructional experiences,
such as the Improvaneer Method, as well. Tracy is her
students' biggest champion and will stop at nothing
when pursuing opportunities for them. One example of
a current partnership-in-progress is with Unified Sports
and Special Olympics in an effort to become
recognized as being a Unified Champion School. Tracy
works hard to establish inclusive opportunities within
the school building for the benefit of all enrolled
students. Her drive and passion are unmatched and she
is a huge advocate for the advancement of JTC
opportunity.

THANK YOU TRACY FOR WHAT YOU DO AND CONGRATULATIONS!

Michelle Bumgarner CONGRATULATIONS on being named one of our Professionals of the Year! Michelle is a Project LIFE Replication Specialist/JTC Instructor at Butler Tech and was nominated by Reena Fish.

Reena describes Michelle as an exemplary JTC program
Instructor/Coordinator who often leads the Butler Tech
JTC transition program team (7programs) in the
creation of job training assessment reports, curriculum
updates, and data collection methods that have proven
invaluable to our local and now national Project LIFE
programming.

This year, she began a new role as the Project LIFE
Replication Specialist. One of her many duties has
been to update our Butler Tech Project LIFE curriculum
to ensure that it aligns with the coming Ohio JTC
Standards, CTE 21st Century Workplace Readiness
Skills and more. She is also instrumental in using
recent grant funding to co-develop a Micro-Enterprise
Implementation Guide and Curriculum (at JTC student
levels). This resource will provide Project LIFE JTC
program instructors and students the opportunity to
develop quality, school based micro-enterprises that
mirror true expectations of running and operating a
small business.

I will close with her most recent initiative of putting
together an alumni event this summer for more than 15
years of Butler Tech Transition Program graduates.
Michelle's passion for her students and unwavering
dedication to improving outcomes is impressive and
she is very deserving of this award!

We agree! CONGRATULATIONS MICHELLE AND THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU DO!
