Ms. Tanis Marquette, Global Sustainability Leader for Hexion, and Dr. Neil Drobny who teaches Environment, Economy, Development and Sustainability (EEDS) - Ohio State courses on sustainable business practices spoke at the 25th Annual Sustainability & EHS Symposium organized by the Manufacturers' Education Council in Cincinnati on March 22, 2016. They discussed an experiential learning course for which Hexion has provided student projects for the last 3 years. In the course, students develop materiality assessments for various market segments that Hexion targets for its products. Students work in teams of four and the class typically has 40-50 students. The course is required of all EEDS students, regardless of specialization.
