📚August Student of the Month for Elementary! Great start to the school year!

Happy Labor Day! There will be no school on Monday, September 2nd. Enjoy your day of rest!

Our 6th graders went to serve at First Fruit Farms yesterday. We picked 800 lbs of green peppers. They did an awesome job and then we went to The Chill for a picnic, snowballs, and some outdoor fun.

Our 7th-12th grade will be going back to High Point this week for our secondary Spiritual Retreat! This year’s theme is “Unified in Christ” and the retreat is a great opportunity for the students to grow closer together!

It’s time for our first sports games of the year! All of our teams are playing away: the varsity boys are traveling to Covenant Life while the other teams visit Heritage! Let’s go Patriots!!

Some of our seniors came to school this morning for a sunrise get together to start this year off praying, enjoying a quick breakfast, and then wanted to cheer on the elementary student and staff for their first day! We hope the love they showed today helped brighten some teary eyed kids (and parents) nervous for their first day! We are looking forward to a great year!

The school year is almost here, and we’re looking forward to another great one! This year, the first day of school is on Wednesday, August 21st. See you soon!

Lifetouch senior portraits will be taken on Monday August 19th, from 8:30am-2pm in the library. 📸 A jacket, shirt, and tie for boys and drapes for girls will be provided.

We’re playing alumni games on Saturday, August 17th! Girls volleyball will be at 4pm, and boys soccer at 7pm! There will be food between the games, so please bring a side or snack if you plan to join us!

Our back to school night is Monday, August 19th! We will meet in the auditorium with new families at 6pm, and then returning families at 7pm!

Varsity boys soccer and girls volleyball tryouts begin on Monday, August 5th! Middle school tryouts will start the following week on August 12th! Keep in mind that Wednesday practices will be at earlier times. ⚽️🏐

We will be opening our school store this week today and Wednesday! It’s located in the elementary building near the school office.

A bunch of the CCS class of 1996 got together for a class reunion last week! They took a tour of the buildings where they had classes and talked about the great memories they made here!

Our church’s VBS starts on Sunday, July 14th at 6:30pm! There will be games, snacks, and Bible lessons each night. While it’s for 4-yr-olds to 6th grade, there’s also a Teen Revival for 7th-12th grade meeting in the gym at the same time. We would love for your children to attend!

Today our elementary classes competed in Field Day! There was an obstacle course, football throw, long jump, 40-yard dash, water balloons, tug of war, and more!
