Across Florida, foreign buyers spent $12.3 billion on home purchases in the most recent fiscal year, down 22% from the year prior. However, South Florida still continues to be a hotbed for foreign dollars, raking in $5.1 billion during that same time period, according to Mansion Global.

Cash is (still) king in Florida's real estate market!

Numbers from September's housing sales show that the median sales price for single-family existing homes was up 18.3% while the median price for condo-townhouse units increased 17.2% from the previous year.

The most striking numbers from this report were that cash deals for single-family existing home increased by 38.5% year-over-year, while all-cash sales of condo-townhouse units rose by 22.9%!

The BOOM has hit Palm Beach!

Although the inventory has been scarce, the year-to-date sales on the island up to the end of September have been astronomical!

Sales have totaled $3.3 billion during the first nine months of 2021. That's an increase of $1 billion dollars from a year ago.
