New and exciting news for Wexford Beer
In July the state legislature passed and the governor signed Act 86 which allows D-licensed (Distributors) to sell ready-to-drink canned cocktails that contain liquor other than malt based products. The law took effect on September 16th, yesterday.
Our license amendment was approved this morning and we are working with the PLCB wholesale department to get in line to buy these canned cocktail products. This includes brands like High Noon, Surfside, Malibu, and many others.
We estimate that we should have them in stock by early next week at the latest.
We'll be clearing out the shelves at the front of the store for the RTD section and will offer a few cold in the cooler.
This has been a long time coming, and certainly will change the dynamic of the ready-to-drink market in PA. A lot of planning has been done by the PA Malt Beverage Distributor Association and the wholesale side of the PA Liquor Control Board. But the day is finally here!
And when people come through our door asking "where is the High Noon?" We no longer have to tell them "about a mile and a half north at the liquor store"

Turner's IC'd tea is moving fast and we have sold out our allocation every week. We're getting more on Tuesday but again limited in how many. Last week our allocation only lasted until Wednesday.
Stock of Iron City Beer and Turner's IC'd Tea temporarily limited after 'record-breaking launch' If you were looking to try the drink that mixes Turner's with Iron City Beer, you may have to wait a bit.
