The safety and wellbeing of those we serve is our priority, and it’s heartwarming to see so many feeling protected and ready for the season ahead.

A huge thank you to the STEM Alliance for partnering with us to offer computer classes at Community Central and Job Central! 💻✨

These ongoing classes, available in both English and Spanish, teach participants essential, basic computer skills. To help bridge the digital divide, each participant also receives a Chromebook to stay connected. 📱🌟

🎉 Congratulations to the Urban Forestry All About Trees Program graduates! 🎉

We're proud of the amazing students who completed their training in tree care, landscaping, and horticulture! 🌳This program was hosted at our Job Central, and many of our clients participated, gaining skills that will benefit them and our community.

Our Open Arms Men's Shelter hosted a fantastic end-of-summer BBQ, bringing together shelter residents and local agencies to connect and share valuable resources.

With games 🎯, music 🎶, raffles 🎟️, and plenty of food 🍔, it was a day full of fun and meaningful connections. LUW staff also joined in, helping to make it an impactful event for everyone. A beautiful day, great company, and the perfect way to close out the summer! ☀️🍂
