Hey Batter Batters! Bring your A-game to our literary diamond as we blend the love of baseball with the excitement of trivia, all at your home field, Whittier Public Library. To highlight our Whittier Reads selection, `Stealing Home' we will host a trivia night with baseball factoids, and they won't all be easy, expect some curveballs in there too!
So touch base with your teammates and come to the Ballpark (Central Library) on Thursday, April 11 at 6 PM, to test your wits and vie for prizes. 👉 Dr. Joseph Price - Professor Emeritus, Religious Studies, and Director, The Institute for Baseball Studies.
👉 Dr. Charles S. Adams - Professor Emeritus, English, and Associate Director, The Institute for Baseball Studies.

📕 Featured Book: "Stealing Home: Los Angeles, the Dodgers, and the Lives Caught in Between" by Eric Nusbaum.

Presented by our streaming service, Kanopy, starting February 5th patrons can use their library card to view the Romantic Comedy from home remotely, or COME ON IN to the library on February 5th to watch on the big screen with us!
