Our Story

Our office focuses on immigration law, including representation in deportation proceedings as well as criminal law. We are a small and personal firm. I, the attorney, handle your case from the moment you call or enter our doors to the moment we finalize your case. As a first generation immigrant, I understand the struggles that you and your family are going through and I am here to be your voice.

We offer free initial consultations by phone and in person. The is located in Downey, California. Open Monday through Friday and weekends by appointment only. We serve the counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Kern, Ventura, and the surrounding areas.

Attorney Luz Tijerina-Garduño (Cal Bar No. 292475)
Attorney Luz Tijerina-Garduño graduated law school in 2013. After passing the bar and being admitted into the California Bar in December of same year, Ms. Tijerina-Garduño began her practice in law.

Ms. Tijerina-Garduño’s passion for law began when she was a child, as she saw her own family fall through the cracks of the system. She graduated from undergraduate as a double major and with honors in both majors. She continued her education at Whittier Law School where she obtained a merit-based scholarship. Ms. Tijerina-Garduño also received various awards for obtaining the highest marks in many of her classes as well as for being active in the law school community, with organizations such as the Public Interest Law Foundation, the Mexican American Bar Association, and the Student Bar Association amongst others.

Throughout her time in law school, Ms. Tijerina-Garduño worked for various immigration law firms and volunteered for nonprofit organizations such as The Public Law Center, a nonprofit that provides free legal service to low-income residents of Orange County. Ms. Tijerina-Garduño also interned with the Orange County Public Defender’s Office and was honored as a judicial extern for the Honorable Kimberly Menninger at the Orange County Superior Court.

As an attorney, Ms. Tijerina-Garduño has represented hundreds of clients in the immigration and criminal courts throughout the United States. Ms. Tijerina-Garduño has acquired great expertise in the areas of immigration and criminal law which she now provides for her own clients.
