And here’s to the team. Last year we were a small group of students at Wichita South High School, but this year, we are Youth Leaders in Kansas. As a part of YLINK, we have been given the opportunity to spread our impact further beyond just our high school. And while our team now includes Southeast and Northeast, next year we might spread further in the metropolitan area…
Also a little kudos to some our very own starfish: Andrew Le, Daniel Gonzalez, Truc Dao, Tiffany Nguyen, Tiffany Tran, Yen Lam, Richard Leng, and Kenny Phan for lettering in student leadership for Wichita Public Schools today!
Many nods, laughters and questions. This crowd of audience definitely got the panelists in hot seats. So many questions asked, and so many answers given. Change starts today, so join us and the young people in this community to advocate and work for that change!
Our amazing panelists! Thank you to these amazing individuals for taking the time out of their day to come and speak to us about diversity and inclusion, food insecurity, mental health and the importance of civics engagement. The stories that were shared, advice given to the youth, we can’t thanks these phenomenal souls enough.

Thank you to Representative Xu, Haswood, Hoye, and Byers for giving us some of your time to today! It was an absolute joy for us to discuss issues that affect our youth! Future leaders in action!
