Mr. Kincaid, the Art teacher, recently entered an art competition at Gallery VII in downtown Wichita. He submitted a photograph of a rocky, light-polluted shoreline he took on his travels in Peru. One of Mrs. Banta's fourth grade students, A'darius Washington, attended the show to cheer on his art teacher. Mr. K won the Bayles Memorial Photography Award and got a picture with A'darius to celebrate.

"Such a huge bonding moment! Next year I'll ask if any students want to join me in entering the contest."

- Mr. Kincaid
