Last week, we celebrated the Grand Opening of our Free State Branch located at 4431 Bauer Farm Dr, Lawrence, KS, with a ribbon cutting and check presentation for the Ballard Center!

It is tradition for the Capitol Federal Foundation® to donate to a local non-profit to help celebrate the opening of a new Capitol Federal branch. At the ribbon cutting ceremony, Capitol Federal CEO John B. Dicus presented a replica check for $15,000 to the Ballard Center. Last weekend, Monique McConnell represented Capitol Federal® at the Urban Financial Services Coalition - Greater Kansas City's first community backpack event at the Junior Achievement of Greater Kansas City.
