We took the CapFed® Cafè out to the 27th Annual Olathe Public Schools Foundation Golf Classic. ⛳

The Olathe Public Schools Foundation puts on this event to raise funds for innovative classroom grants, educator and certified staff excellence awards, and funding that helps to meet the needs of Olathe kids.

CapFed employees had so much fun handing out goodies to golfers and supporting this wonderful Foundation!

It is with deep sadness and profound respect that we announce the passing of Capitol Federal’s Chairman Emeritus, John C. “Jack” Dicus. Jack's remarkable journey with us began many decades ago, and his unwavering dedication and vision have left a lasting mark on our institution and community.

Jack's journey with the Bank began in 1959. Two decades later, he was named Chairman of the Bank. In January of 2009, Jack was honored for 50 years of service to Capitol Federal®. He retired as Chairman from the board and continued as Chairman Emeritus. Jack helped lead the Bank with many revolutionary achievements during his time, as well as showcasing an unwavering commitment to the community.

Jack Dicus was not just a leader but a mentor, a visionary, and a friend. While we mourn his loss, we also celebrate his life and the extraordinary legacy he leaves behind. Jack believed that running a successful company was about people and their well-being—customers and employees alike. We will continue to build upon the foundation and beliefs he has left us with.

In honor of our Flag Day celebration last week, we gifted local Fire Departments a U.S. Flag once flown over the U.S. Capitol! 🇺🇲

We are proud to give back to the people and organizations that make our communities so amazing! Flags were gifted to Fire Departments in Salina, Lawrence, Manhattan, Topeka, Kansas City, Emporia, and Wichita.

In honor of Juneteenth, all Capitol Federal® branches and call center will be closed on 6/19. True Blue Online® banking, mobile banking, and ATMs will still be available for your convenience.

Lawrence Busker Festival, a celebration of street performing, begins today! 🎪🤹💃 Join the community May 24th-26th to watch quirky, unusual, exciting, and surprising performers on the streets of Lawrence.

Customers, our Lawrence Hobbs Taylor branch will be experiencing road closures on Friday 5/24 from 12 PM - 6 PM and Saturday 5/25 from 9 AM -12 PM. Direct access to the drive-thru and customer parking in the front of the building will be limited during the Festival. Customers may enter through the west side lobby doors and will be directed to access the drive-thru.
