His content is amazing, I wholeheartedly trust his reviews, and I just love watching everything he puts out! So when he entrusted me to make his daughter’s birthday cake, I knew it had to be nothing short of perfection! His sweet girl requested a “cats and flamingos” cake, and this is what I came up with! 🎂🐈🦩

I just love how it came out…and most importantly, so did the birthday girl! ☺️💗

Content creation cakes are hands down my favorite to make because I get full creative freedom to just let my imagination run wild! In my opinion, they are 1000% my BEST cakes! But they are also my most time consuming, expensive, and difficult cakes to make! For example, this cake took 12 total hours from start to finish, would be quoted at $400.00 for order, and took loads of trial and error! But LOOK AT IT! It was totally worth it!

Hello, my beautiful friends! 🤍

I just wanted to remind everyone that I will be on a cruise from tomorrow, June 29th until Monday, July 8th! From moving into my very first house, to Cinco De Mayo, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Teacher’s Appreciation, Nurse’s Appreciation, graduations, birthdays, weddings, start of summer…the list goes on and on! I cannot even begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for all those who support me! Over the past months, Cakes By Callie has BLOWN UP! And it is all thanks to you guys!

3) With that being said, I have unfortunately hit my burnout stage 🥺 For those of you who know me, I am a type A, perfectionist, over-achiever through and through! A lot of people tell me it’s great I’m my own boss because I can make my own hours, schedules, etc…but it can almost be worse for me. I have a hard time separating work and home, I work 80+ hour weeks, I don’t eat or take care of myself because I am so in the zone! This is NOT me complaining…I absolutely love what I do! But sometimes, I just forget that my health and happiness is my top priority…not my job. I want to work to live, not live to work. So I will be taking very limited orders for the months of June and July! Instead of 10-20 orders per week, I would like to set boundaries with myself and only take a max of 5 orders per week for these two months! I already have at least a couple orders every week for June and July, so if you want to book with me, I would do so ASAP!

4) I will still be doing my bi-weekly FREE VINTAGE HEART CAKE GIVEAWAY! I did want to mention a few things, though! I do these giveaways out of the goodness of my heart to show my love for my amazing supporters!
