We have been busy, busy, busy this week but it was worth it to help out the Museum of World Treasures and their awesome fundraiser tonight! We are so jealous of you guys who get to go. Take a look at the yummies we worked on...
Apple pie focaccia was a new experiment we tried and boy did it work!!
We also made our famous Sassy Molassy cookies
Red wine chocolate cookies featuring spiced mead from Wyldewood Cellars - Mulvane and a hint of spice from a Mexican chocolate from Lori's EmporiYum
And of course we had to make our quarter pounders
Our cupcakes were:

We are exhausted but we are excited!

Gluten-free cupcakes so delicious, it's scary!! We love how the little eyeballs just kinda stick out

It's bread time baby! has us feeling spicy! We made a chocolate and hazelnut bread using hazelnut spread. We used a hint of spicy chocolate to kick things up a notch

We're making up for lost time with this
Today we made a traditional, yet delicious, Challah bread. And then we got a craving for chocolate.
We took our basic focaccia recipe and folded in chocolate hazelnut spread and tossed in just a hint of Montezuma's Gold from Lori's EmporiYum. You have no idea how hard it is to NOT just eat the whole thing right now.

Bad news, I caught a pretty bad flu bug on vacation so we won't be able to make the Art and Ale fest.

Two days late, but better late than never.
We had the pleasure of actually getting to sit down and have lunch here on Tuesday. I got the roasted chicken with rice and beans and the hubby got their big baby burrito. My chicken had a saltiness that went really well with the rice and beans. You know how sometimes you get Mexican rice and it's like dry and old? Not this. It was cooked so perfectly. The beans should just be beans, but these had an amazing homestyle flavor. I didn't grow up with an Abuela. I had my grandma and grew up around Scilian Nonnas. Eating food like what you get at Las Abuelas is soul warming. OH! And I got their flan and I would've taken a photo of it but I ate it so quickly that I forgot. I took pics of the menu so you can see what they offer. Can't wait to come back!!!

Starting today we'll be unable to take orders until after the 6th as we'll be on vacation. Hopefully we'll come back with some great inspiration!

I haven't had a good beef rib since we lived in Texas, over 10 years ago. Station 8 BBQ has satisfied this craving and then some. Yes. That is my giant head being blocked by an even bigger rib. So delicious. So tender. So flavorful. The brisket is pure heaven and to make myself look health conscious, I got the green beans, also delicious! 😁

Tried today. Got the mixed rice Hawaiian plate with garlic shrimp and chicken. The chicken was great. Tonkatsu chicken can come out dry sometimes, but this was fried perfectly. I also got the Hawaiian Mac salad. The garlic shrimp could use a bit more garlic. But, again, it was grilled perfectly.. Kevin had the Bull Shark burger and cheese curds. He really liked both of them. They even made a special dipping sauce for his curds that took it to a whole other level. Definitely need to go back and try more of their food. For only being 5 days old, they're rocking it!

Okay, here's the deal. If any of you suffer from migraines or big headaches like I do, you need this tea. It has been a game changer for me, and it tastes delicious!
