Edit to add that we switched our flake salt. We're now using a Mediterranean flake salt

Second try with the black garlic and dark chocolate chip cookies. Made some tweaks and I definitely think we're getting there

So nice to keep it simple. Triple chocolate and browned butter cookies! These are great for business meetings, get togethers, or to say "thanks" to that neighbor who picked up your packages while you were on vacation

Immediately came back home and started baking again! For my birthday, we decided to keep it simple. A paired down version of our 1/4 pounder cookies. Three kinds of chocolate, hickory smoked brown sugar from Signature Salts and Seasonings of course and a whole bunch of browned butter! You can order some for your next meeting or get together, or just to send to a neighbor to say "hey"

We decided to take a break and visited the Ozark mountains of Arkansas. It was a great time and a much needed disconnection from the world.

When it comes to Mario Bros. the only thing I remember from the game is stars and blocks and like Donkey Kong? Well, anyway, here's an old person's interpretation of the game. Chocolate chocolate. When it's this tasty, who cares what it looks like!!

If you haven't tried them for taco Tuesday, you're missing out! $1 gets you either a beef or chicken. The beef is cooked to perfection and the chicken was super tender. The two salsas were a perfect addition to these tacos with a great heat that wasn't painful. These were so satisfying! I ate 3 of them and that was plenty. I think we found our new taco Tuesday spot!
