Back in 2016 the youth took a mission trip to Denver, Colorado. They volunteered at Denver Rescue Mission and Food Bank of the Rockies. They also had a little fun white-water rafting!

We are so grateful for Jean H. & John W. sharing their careers with Group 180 the last two Sunday’s. It is a blessing our adults are willing to share their knowledge and wisdom with the younger generations. Thank you! 🙏

Join team Woodridge for the 32nd East & West United for Victory Walk! Registration forms are available in the church narthex, or you can print the PDF in the comments below. Registrations are due by August 31st if you’d like Kay to pick up your t-shirt.

The Victory Walk will be Saturday, September 28th, meeting at the church at 8:30 AM. We will complete our walk at Lakeview Cemetery across from the church. Please join us to walk or cheer us on! Following the walk we will return to the church for refreshments. Let Kay C. know if you have any questions.

A few changes this year: 1) There will only be one shirt option for both East & West siders; 2) The registration fee has been reduced to $25 per person; 3) There is only a walk; they are no longer doing the 5k run.

2024 08 11 The People of God Revelation Study

Yesterday the youth prepared and served breakfast to families at the Ronald McDonald House. They made a biscuits and gravy casserole, cinnamon roll dish, and side of fruit.

We are proud of them for always giving back to their community! 💛

2024 08 04 The Tribulation Revelation Study

Everyone is welcome to attend the next Goldenaires activity at the church on Wednesday, August 14th at 11:30 AM. Please bring your sack lunch and drink. We will play Co****le and Kubb, with a possible tournament for the competitive players!

The next Strategic Planning Session (SPS) is Sunday, August 11th. All are welcome to attend the meeting from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM to discuss church business.

We had another full Sunday yesterday. Thank you to Misty H. for sharing her career with Group 180 during Sunday School. During worship we heard from our youth about their mission trip to Colorado. We also were blessed to celebrate with Wanda G. as she celebrated 80 years young! Happy Birthday!!

Thank you to Sam, Left Barrel First and the Gleason’s for hosting our Goldenaires adventure yesterday. We took a hay rack ride and learned all about the training business and horses. We had a great time!

Last Sunday Group 180 continued with their career exploration to help them learn how to best use their God given talents! Thank you to Valerie W. for sharing about her Sport Management degree & career. Group 4:12 had a blast coloring, playing and learning with Mrs. Cindy. Group 180 finished off our Sunday morning serving a delicious after church fellowship.

In honor of the upcoming Paris Olympics, we wanted to flash back to the 2016 Woodridge Olympics! Lots of competitions, teamwork, and tons of fun!

Join us for a special Sunday on July 21st. We will begin by meeting at 8:30 AM at the church to send off Group 180 on their mission trip to Colorado. Following that, we will enjoy a breakfast of eggs with biscuits and gravy. At 10:45 in worship, we will continue our study of Revelations. Following worship, we will have an ice cream social while being entertained by a bagpipe player.
