Today, June 14th, Matt Aitchison, PA-C is seeing patients in El Dorado instead of the Augusta location. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Interview patients and document basic medical history
Organize and schedule appointments
Update and file medical records and insurance reports
Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services
Check with patients and type up patients charts
Assist during medical examinations
Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
Handle receivable and payable accounts and keep financial records
Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments

Skills

Proven working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary
Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Social perceptiveness and service oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills

The El Dorado Clinic is looking for full-time employee. We are searching for a Front Desk Receptionist who is responsible, dependable, professional, driven, and able to multitask. Experience preferred but not required. Current benefits include: After 1 year of employment 77 hours of vacation, 70 hours sick leave, 21 hours unpaid time, match up to 4% on 401K. Clinic pays $300 toward health insurance premium, offers dental insurance, life, cancer, etc.

Starting on Monday, 3/23/20, our Providers will be able to consult with patients via TELEHEALTH.
There are patients that we would prefer to have stay at home, either
~due to their particular health status as to minimize their potential exposure and
~some that have symptoms that we may not want in our clinic to expose others.
However, if you fit either of these demographics and still feel you need to visit with us, we can request a TELEHEALTH visit.
It is a very simple process. Our business office can process insurance over the phone and get you all set up!

Keep in mind:

Even if you don’t meet KDHE or CDC guidelines for COVID-19 testing, and you are experiencing ANY cold or flu-like symptoms (and stable) you should remain self-quarantined as though you do have it until your symptoms completely resolve. Know that there likely is and are going to be many that have mild cases of it and unknowingly spread it to others. Call us with any questions 316-321-2010.

Update (please share):

Patients can be assured we are taking any and all necessary steps to prevent possible exposures, while still being available to provide care for those in need. We have, in place, protocols to handle situations that may arise. As such, we ask for your help:

1.) If you are sick, PLEASE call our office prior coming in, so we may screen you to decide best course of action, without exposing yourself or others further.
2.) If you’re medically high-risk (older adults and/or those with chronic illnesses such as diabetes, copd, asthma, etc) you may get a phone call asking you to please consider rescheduling any follow up/routine visits. If you have any questions whether your provider would like to still see you, call and ask.
3.) We recommend that you avoid bringing any non-essential family or friends who are not being seen to limit their exposure.
4.) You may make an appointment and upon arrival to the hospital, call us and wait in your car as we check you in and call you back when its your turn to room, thus reducing exposure in our clinic waiting room.
5.) If you do have symptoms of a “cold” or fever please put on a mask upon arrival.

PLEASE, if you feel you have been exposed to COVID-19 or recently traveled to high-risk areas AND are experiencing respiratory symptoms such as fever (>100.4), cough, shortness of breath, etc DO NOT come into the clinic BEFORE calling your provider 1st to get instructions regarding screening & treatment. If you feel you need immediate medical attention, call 911 or go to the ER, alerting them of your situation.
