We are just 4 days from Wichita Kansas Adaptive Cycling Omnium race weekend. Look on www,wcsports.org or on here in older posts for more details. We will be offering a adaptive Cycling test ride clinic Friday May 11, from 3 pm to 5 pm for kids and adults with physical disabilities at the Kechi Community Center. We will repeat the clinic on Sunday May 13 from 8 to 10 at the Lake Afton Pavillion #1. If you are interested in trying out Adaptive cycling. Big Thanks goes out to & The Bob Woodruff Foundation for their Amazing support of our disabled Military & Veterans in attendance!!!

Entry includes 1 $109/night room cost + tax(no incidentals you must use your card(s) to reserve and pay for the room. Share a room with another racer eligible for 1 night room cost and between you. 1 night @ $109 + tax paid by check post Criterium during awards at the dinner on Sunday.

Summer is almost over and here at CAF, we are reflecting back on a busy summer of camps, clinic, competitions, races, and visits with many of our athletes.
And we are getting ready for the 2018 Grant Applications to start pouring in from many of you.
CAF’s 2018 Grant Application Opens on Friday, September 1st
The 2018 Access for Athletes Grant Program is quickly approaching! Here is what you will need to complete your application:
A medical letter of reference stating your permanent physical disability.
A personal letter of reference from a coach, teammate, friend, or mentor explaining your need for a grant and your participation in sport and athletics.
Two high-resolution photos (PDF, jpeg files).
Financial documents that detail your annual income (W2, 1040 form, SSI/SSDI award letter, or 2 pay stubs)
Remember, you can apply for a CAF grant every year!

Getting adaptive bikes ready for clinic at Day at the Lake.
Check out the times and dates for summer tennis. However, you will still need to email [email protected] to register and pay the $20 fee to save a spot. Wichita Adaptive Sports Program and Wheelchair Sports INC - Wichita KS will pay the other half of the registration. This is to cover the cost of the WSU tennis coaches.

Wheelchair Hockey Game
Please support our wheelchair hockey team, the Wichita Plunder, as they face off against the Wichita Thunder on Sunday, March 12th at 2:00pm at the Church of the Magdalen. Tickets are just $5 for adults and kids 12 and under our free. There will be a Jersey auction after the game and all proceeds go towards Wheelchair Sports Inc.
