Get ready to run! Cross Country season is coming up, and we're excited for students to join the team! 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏾 Practices begin Monday, August 19, and are Monday-Friday from 2:20-3:45 p.m.

Coleman is excited to once again provide all of our students with the school supplies they need for this coming school year! ✏️📒🖋️📄🗂️ Check out the items your student will receive on the first day of school, along with the items your child's teachers will have available for use during class.

There will come a time when you may need to replenish these supplies later in the year or provide project supplies, but for the start of the school year, we have your child covered! 🧡🖤

This week’s Summer Garden Club field trip to the Ascension Via Christi Villages memory care unit was amazing! The “Guardians of the Garden” did hard work planting some beautiful flowers, but the highlight for the students was spending time with the residents. You could literally feel the joy in the room among the students and the residents!

Several members of our Coleman team are at AVID Summer Institute in Dallas this week! They will be participating in professional learning to help ALL our students grow in college and career readiness! We’re excited to see how their learning will impact our students, school, and community. We also have a couple of teachers who are helping facilitate learning for other educators. A great group all around!

A couple Coleman alumni making news at State Track!

Jalil Cooper (NWHS) took 1st in the 100 meter and 200 meter. DJ Colbert (SEHS) took 2nd in the 100 meter. It is so exciting to see these young men continue to do well on and off the track! Way to go, Jalil and DJ!

Pawps 24 was AMAZING! 🤩 The students did a wonderful job singing and dancing and making everyone in the room want to get up move, too! 🧡🖤 Way to, Coleman Choir!

These 8th grade students have been leaders in our school this semester! It is exciting to see them recognized as students of the month. We wish them, along with all our 8th graders, the best as they venture on to high school! Continue to do amazing things!

Congratulations to these students for being selected as students of the month by our Exploratory teachers this semester! It is so fun to see the ways they create, work hard, and support others. Way to go, Coleman Cougars!

These 7th graders are very deserving of the student of the month recognition! They are examples for their peers and advocates for our school. We're grateful to have them at The Domes. It is wild to think that they will be 8TH GRADERS next year!

What a wonderful morning for our 8th Grade Celebration! We’ve enjoyed having these students with us and we are excited for their time in high school to be here! They are going to do amazing things! Thank you to all the family and friends who joined us to cheer for these fantastic young people!

It's 8th Grade Celebration week! 🎉

We're excited to recognize our 8th graders for their hard work during middle school. The ceremony is from 8-9:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 23, in the Coleman Gym. The doors will open at 7:30 a.m. Guests can enter the gym through the door near the south parking lot.

The ceremony includes performances by our choir, band, and orchestra students, along with special awards, a guest speaker, and the presentation of the 8th Grade Class.

Please note: The 8th grade student breakfast is only for students. The breakfast begins at 7 a.m. Students should arrive to school between 6:30-7 a.m.

The band concert last week was wonderful! These students have worked hard and put in a lot of practice to get ready! And their efforts paid off — they played beautifully! Kudos to Mrs. Strawn, Mr. Shults, and everyone who performed!

It’s almost time for the BATTLE OF THE DECADES!

Join us for the PAWPS concert tomorrow, Monday, May 20, at 6 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for students. The night will feature an music from the 1950s on and will include singing, dancing, special acts and more!

Our Band and Orchestra students had a great time at Worlds of Fun yesterday! They performed wonderfully in the morning and enjoyed their day riding rides and making memories. The students (and teachers) have worked hard all year. This trip is a fun way to celebrate their growth and successes throughout the school year.

7th graders visited Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve and the Chase State Fishing Lake Waterfall. 🐟 Students enjoyed exploring and getting to see the waterfall! So much fun and lots of learning took place! 🧡
