Something VERY exciting is coming!

Big thanks to our friends at Baseline Creative, Inc., X-Press Signs And Graphics, and Family Promise of Greater Wichita!

We have a potential opportunity for a PAID practicum placement this school year. A big part of this role would be serving with our prevention education team in schools. If you know an amazing student seeking an internship for the fall- please share with them!

We would like to introduce you to Casey, she joined our Board in October of 2023. Casey's experience in local government and her connection to the community is a great asset to our organization! We are so thankful to have her on our Board of Directors!

We love this city and feel honored to serve in a way that seeks dignity and justice for all of our neighbors!

We're well on our way to completing 63 Fresh Start bags for EmberHope this month. 63 is the average number of children who enter Foster Care each month in our city.

Each bag has new clothes, hygiene products, comfort items, and a fast food gift card.

We need about 40 more gift cards to complete the bags. Is this something you, your church, or your business might be able to help with?

We love this partnership with KU School of Medicine-Wichita! Thanks to all of the students who volunteered with us yesterday and good luck in your first year of med school!

Once a month our advocacy program hosts a Support Group for our clients, we provide child care for their kiddos and a meal.

Last week we had an amazing family donate a meal to our Support Group! It was delicious! We are so thankful for their generosity!

We're getting closer to having this all cleaned up and consolidated!

Our new volunteer platform will launch very soon- just in time to start signing up to help at Race 4 Freedom!

Just a little update:
We are in the process of consolidating 3 different software programs (donor, email & volunteer) into one. What does this mean for you?
-Less websites & logins to keep track of for donating, volunteering, etc.
-Better communication from us- get all the info you want, and none that you don't!
-A more streamlined process on our end saves staff time and donor dollars as we fulfill our mission!
Here's where we may need your help and a little extra patience...
As we are cleaning up and combining a lot of data into one place, there may be some duplicates or outdated contact info. If you see that your information is out of date, please drop us a note and we'll get it updated. You will also have the ability to unsubscribe from certain types of communication if they don't interest you, or add yourself to others to make sure you don't miss anything! (There is a link at the bottom of each email.)
Volunteers- you'll be getting another communication in the next couple of weeks with everything you need for the new volunteer process. It's going to be MUCH simpler! (Including Race volunteers!)
