Hungry for new cultural knowledge (and food 😋)? Well, well, well, we've got you covered! [ Flavors of Asia ] 🌏 will be hosted by ASC X VSA X TLC X SYZ this coming Wednesday, April 3 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Grace Memorial Chapel Lawn.

Join in on the festivities to learn about different cultural foods 🤯 and earn a chance to win an assortment of Asian snacks 🎊! What's more, we will have foods available for sale (Hawaiian Plates, Rau Cau, Lotus Cookies, Kebabs) so you can have a taste of Asia as well as support our organzations and keep events like these going in the future!

[ How to Enter the Prize Drawing ]
Prize: an assortment of Asian snacks
We will provide you with "passports" during the event. Go around each organization's station and earn stamps after learning about the culture. Collect all 4 stamps and turn in the last page of the "passport" with your info for a chance to win the prize! We will contact the winner after they have been chosen.

NOTE: You do NOT need to buy the food to earn a stamp. Just learn something new :D

Here's an overview for TLC events in February:
In the TLC countries, New Year is celebrated in April. However, there are still groups who celebrate Lunar New Year (usually some time between late January to late February). This year, it lands on February 10. To celebrate and show you the festivities of Lunar New Year, TLC will be part of the ODI collab next Friday, April 9. 🧧

In terms of general meetings, we will have two this month: one on Valentine's day and another two weeks later on the 28th. Come learn about how TLC celebrates love and make some arts and crafts with us! 💝🎨

We have plenty of events this month, starting with an ice skating social the day before our Valentine's day general meeting. The week after will be TLC week (we have fun events planned so look out for announcements in the coming weeks)! ❄️⛸️

Who can watch a movie without popcorn? 🍿 Come learn about movies from TLC cultures and enjoy popcorn AND nacho bar with us 😌🍽️ We’ll see you there!

Come learn about Loy Krathong (lantern festivals) with TLC's 5th general member meeting on Tuesday, November 7 from 2:00 to 3:00PM at HUBBARD 209!

It's looking a little too rainy today ☔🧍...so we decided to host the event inside! New location is on campus at Woolsey, Room 328 and at 6PM. We'll be providing food and crafts (some pumpkin painting, crochet) and also some fun games!

Hello friends! Due to unforeseen rescheduling, TLC's ice skating event will sadly have to be cancelled today, but don’t worry! We will instead be heading to Carousel to roller skate the night away 💃🏻🕺 it will still be at 7pm, and as an apology, the first 10 people will have their admission paid for by TLC ✨ Watch out for a rescheduled ice skating social in the future, thank you all for your understanding!

Happy Fall TLC family ~ 🍂🎃✨
TLC will be hosting our B**g and Nong event soon! 🎉🎉🎉

B**g and Nong is a mentorship/friendship program that aims to connect TLC members with each other through meaningful pairings so that they can create life-long friendships. "B**g" is the "older sibling" in the Cambodian language while "nong" is the "younger sibling" in the Thai and Lao languages.

Rules 📜
1. To be eligible, you must attend at least ONE event from 10/22 (Sunday) to 10/25 (Wednesday) 🗓️ and
2. fill out the interest form (link in bio...soon :D). 📝
3. First-years can not be bongs ❌

Be on the lookout for more info soon!

P.S. We highly recommend coming to at least 2 events to really bond with people :D
