Wichita State alumni Javier Ignacio ('07) and JJ Jonathan Jackson ('80) recently met up in Los Angeles at Hollywood and Vine. Ignacio, a seasoned performer, was starring in the national tour of Company, while Jackson, an Emmy-winning director, was preparing to produce the Esports Awards in Riyadh. They took time out of their busy schedules for a photoshoot for The Shocker magazine, highlighting their successful careers and strong connections to WSU. Due to the threat of inclement weather in the Wichita area, the School of Performing Arts will be closing today (Monday, May 6th) at 3:30. Please be in touch with your instructor if you have a final project/exam scheduled after that time as your instructors as they have been asked to come up with alternative arrangements. Reach out to shop managers if you are scheduled to work today after 3:30 pm. Please stay safe and have a plan for severe weather.
