Reason to Study the Book of Revelation -- taught by Linda Stephen. Description: Revelation is about JESUS! Revelation reveals God’s plan for the future is to glorify His Son! Revelation shows us the certainty and control of God, even in these uncertain times. Revelation gives us an urgent concern for those that don’t know Jesus as Savior. If the est. 300 prophecies of His first Advent were fulfilled in detail, wouldn’t we expect the prophecies of His Second Coming to be equally valid? (D.Jeremiah says 8 times as many) In Matthew 24:42-44 and Luke 12:35-40, Jesus told us to “watch and be ready”. If His prophecy is being fulfilled, wouldn’t you want to know and “be ready”? Come to be blessed and decide for yourself! This Class will use the book by Retired Methodist pastor, Daymond Duck, “The Book of Revelation, the smart Guide to the Bible series”. Wednesdays at 10am OR 6:30pm at Asbury GMC, beginning September 4th, 2024. Sign up by emailing Linda ([email protected]) or Mary Jo Fraipont ([email protected]).
Begins September 11th -- 6:30pm

Come for 5 minutes or take the whole hour to be still and connect deeper with God. Beginning September 11th, 2024.

- One at a Time -- hosted by Sarah Brooks, Asbury Marketing Director: Room B111. Description -- You are invited to this video Bible Study by Kyle Idleman, the senior pastor at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky, one of the largest churches in America. Nobody grows up dreaming of waking up, going to work, heading home, watching Netflix, scrolling through social media, and then doing it all over again the next day until their last breath. We all want to be used to change the world. We want to be difference-makers. But it’s easy to get caught up in the everyday stuff of life and with each passing year, the question seems to get louder: Am I making any difference in this world? Maybe there’s a different way to make a difference, and we’re missing it. Without a doubt, Jesus is the person who has made the biggest difference in all of history. So, how did He do it? If we study the story of His life, there are a number of answers we could highlight, but there’s one particular phrase that captures how Jesus had such an impact, and this phrase is how He wants to use us to make a difference: one at a time. Making a difference isn’t measured by a viral post or a name on a building. It isn’t determined by a following, your bank account or who’s in your contacts. Want to make a difference? Focus on the one. That’s it. That’s the secret of the way of Jesus. One at a time. Beginning September 11th, 2024.
