If you like Track and Field and have an interest in working and coaching younger kids we have opportunities available for our upcoming spring/summer season.

We offer a family-friendly coaching environment, organized structure, great kids, strong connections to Wichita State University Track and Field and Friends University Track and Field, and opportunities to work with and learn from experienced coaches.

All coaches must become a USATF Track and Field member, pass a USATF/NCSI Background screen, and complete the USOC SafeSport Training.

Shocker Track Club Elite Team Member, Aaron True, will compete Saturday in the Javelin at the 2021 USATF Olympic Trials!

True, from Lebo, Kansas, is one of four of the 24 javelin throwers in the US men’s Olympic trials from Kansas. Brett Thompson (Erie/Pitt State), Joshua Hudiburg (Fort Scott/Pitt State), and Logan Wolfley (Silver Lake/KSU) are the others. All four were state champions in high school and all four were All-American in college in the javelin.

Attention Track and Field Officials -
The Kansas Sunflower Games is officially soliciting for Track and Field Officials for the 2021 Kansas Sunflower Games scheduled for July 9-10, 2021 in Topeka, Kansas at Hummer Park.
We are in need of Officials in all areas and are able to pay/provide -
- $50 per day for officiating (I'll note here that we will definitely accept Officials that are willing to volunteer their time)
- Free hotel room on Friday night, July 9th for Officials working both days
- Water and Meals on Friday and Saturday.
Specifically we need -
- One Starter
- One Clerk
- Two for Javelin
- Two for Shot Put.
- Two for PV.
- Two for High Jump
- Two for Long Jump/Triple Jump
- Two for Hammer/Discus
