Today, the SCDP conducted its reorganization meeting, culminating in the election of a new executive board comprising Kristi Kirk, Chair; Ben Taylor, Vice Chair; Natalie Merten, Secretary; Michael Moeder, Treasurer; and Daniel Macias, Parliamentarian. We express our gratitude to those present and past who have volunteered to serve our county party.

I am running to flip Kansas House District 85 because I'm tired of being represented by a government that doesn't listen to the people. For Kansas to thrive, we must prioritize the voices of those calling for Medicaid expansion, fully funded education, fair taxation, reproductive rights, and environmental protection.

My opponent, Patrick Penn, has chosen to stand with corporate interests and career politicians whose selfish agendas have dominated our legislature for 31 years, leaving our state worse off.

Head back to school healthy! Wichita Public Schools and Sedgwick County Health Department are hosting no-cost vaccine clinics to help student's pre-k through grade 12 receive required and recommended vaccines for school. The event is open to students from all area school districts.

Vaccines are available by appointment only, and each child needs their own appointment slot. Make sure to bring their vaccine records and insurance card (if insured). A parent/guardian must be present.

Office Work Volunteers Needed at New SCDP Headquarters

Items Needed For Our New Headquarters: small refridgerator shelving folding chairs YOU! We need friendly people to volunteer to staff our office. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, light office work, answering phones and making phone... New SCDP Headquarters Address 505 S. Broadway Avenue Suite 210 Wichita, KS 67202 Please note: the office is on the 2nd floor. There will be an elevator installed soon. Until then, if you need anything from the office, we will arrange to bring it down the stairs.

I'm proud of the work I've done over the past six years in the legislature. I've always fought for Kansan workers, standing up for the hardworking men and women of our state. From voting for tax cuts in the most recent special session to providing property tax relief and making childcare more accessible and affordable, my focus has been on making life better for all Kansans.
