Project Graduation is tonight from 7pm - 1am at Northeast Magnet for all graduating seniors! The event is FREE and no sign up is required! We will start the night with Ziggy's Pizza and we will have other snacks and treats throughout the night.
You will also enjoy a DJ, casino games, oversized board games, open gym, trivia, a dodgeball tournament, and more. We will also be watching Barbie in the auditorium!
Students will be given raffle tickets to enter into our awesome drawings! We will be raffling off a TV, a laptop, AirPods, Gift Cards, Cash and much more - You don't want to miss your chance to win, and no one will leave empty handed!
There are some things you need to know about Project Graduation:
• You must be a graduating Northeast Magnet senior to enter.
• Unless you have special permission, we will not admit any students after 9pm.
• If you leave, you will not be readmitted.
• All students will be given 6 tickets upon entrance. You may place your tickets in any of the raffles for a chance to win.
• Students will have a chance to win additional tickets from the casino, dodgeball, and trivia.
• You will need teams of 5-6 for trivia and teams of 5 for dodgeball, so be thinking of teams.
• The drawings begin at 12am and you must be present to win!
Today is Mission Day at Northeast Magnet! The Army National Guard is here, and our students are saving lives, rescuing people, and putting out fires. It's an incredible day of hands on learning.
We're proud of all of our griffins, and we love when we get to celebrate their incredible accomplishments. Senior, and Student Body President, Israel Torres was surprised at school with a full ride scholarship to WSU through the Rudd Foundation. We're so excited to see the incredible things he'll do.

Wednesday, February 28, all juniors will take the ACT test for free. We will begin our school day as scheduled to start administering the test, so it is very important that students arrive on time. School will be dismissed at 11:30. Students who ride the bus will have transportation home.
There will be no school for freshmen, sophomores or seniors on that day, so please plan ahead for this schedule change. All students will be in class on Thursday, Feb. 29.

Our band students had the opportunity to play at the Kansas State Fair today. While the venue might have been a bit damp, spirits were anything but!
Today our Art History classes created play dough versions of Stonehenge. They worked to create the most historically accurate versions of Stonehenge using all of the play dough they were provided. We think they did a pretty spectacular job!
