We have VERY EXCITING news for everyone!! Hershey was adopted! 👏👏👏

Hershey came into our care in February with another dog named Lilly. They were surrendered because their owner sadly passed away. We wanted to thank everyone who helped Hershey on his journey to his new home. In the 4 months he was in our care, he touched a lot of hearts. A special thank you to Muddy Marley's Dog Wash for grooming and sponsoring Hershey's adoption fee!

The Williamsburg Doodle Group is here! They met up at Jamestown Beach for their doodle group meetup and then came here for their bath afterward!

We had such a great day today with Russ at Muddy Marley’s Dog Wash during his all day break from the shelter. He was so sweet and snuggly all day. Thank you to The Playful Educator, The Coffeehouse and Food Lion for letting Russ come in and meet new friends. Thank you to Brusters for making him a pup cup and finally a big thank you for Heritage Humane Society for bringing Russ to us and allowing us to love on him all day.
