The Alzheimer's Association is the world's leader in Alzheimer's research and support. Our programs and services for family are free of charge.
Alzheimer's disease is not a normal part of aging. It is a brain disease that progressively robs people of their ability to remember, think, understand and communicate. There is no cure, yet, but there are treatments which may delay life. Advances in research and drugs currently in clinical trials give us hope for effective treatments and, one day, a cure.
November is National Family Caregivers Month. The Alzheimer's Association honors the dedication and strength of caregivers who provide unpaid care to people with Alzheimer's disease. Join us for a special series of education programs: Navigating the Dementia Care Journey and Caregiver Conversations: Journey of Hope
