Like last year, a number of our staff will use this time to visit our friends for their Oktoberfest! We can't thank y'all enough for your continued support. What's the secret behind our Italian Parts Unknown? Most folks point straight to the shredduce! We come in early every morning to slice all of our ingredients and shredduce is always the first up. We're taking extra care to make sure it's sliced perfectly thin to give the texture that makes our italian one to remember!

Peruvian chicken salad sandwiches are on the menu today! Savory, tangy and delicious, the chicken salad is paired with shredduce, tomato, onion and pickles on our Rye or white bread to make for a perfect lunch. We've also switched up to a curry chickpea salad so that our vegan friends can get in on the action!

What's our best selling sandwich you ask? That would be The Tucker! On the menu from day one and still going strong. Our house made romesco brings this sandwich to life with a bit of Spanish flair! 💃 Definitely a sandwich to remember and a worthy owner of our top spot! 🇪🇸🥪

Good news! We're participating in the and that means The Finn is on the menu for the month of August! Not for the faint of heart, this sandwich packs a punch with chili crunch as it's feature ingredient bringing a TON of flavor to the party. The chili crisp meets vegan mayo, roasted mushrooms, pickled veg, arugula, and ginger carrot dressing to top it off. A few folks have been heard whispering "this is the best sandwich I've ever had". Have you tried our tofu feta yet? It's all the rage out here and we can't stop eating it! Today is Meatless Monday so it's basically the perfect time to give it a try since you will get TWO punches on your sandwich card for ordering a vegan or vegetarian sandwich. Come through and give the Esmeralda a try to see what that fuss is about!

Our lunch turnouts for Friday and Saturday have been absolutely incredible and we can't thank y'all enough! We're changing our hours to minimize sell out days and fulfill more of our posted hours. Starting tomorrow, we'll begin closing at 6PM on Friday and Saturday! So, come through for lunch, early din or a sandwich to go! 🫶🥪

Our friends are so close to opening and we will be closed this evening at 4PM to celebrate that! We're so excited to have worked with them on getting their project up and running and can't wait for everyone to see what they have to offer in their new space!

Our cozy building brings a lot of character and shapes a lot of what we do here at The Half. The size of our operation means that we have limited space for prepping and storage. This is a friendly reminder, especially to our new followers, that on busy days we operate to our posted hours or until sold out. That means, particularly on Fridays and Saturdays, that you should check our social media stories if you plan on joining us in the late afternoon or evening. We do our best to bring you a consistent, high quality product each day and we can't thank you enough for showing up to support that effort! ❤️🥪

Friendly reminder that ALL of our food packaging is compostable! Even our water cups, cups for sides, and cutlery, are compostable plastics. In fact, we don't carry any products in traditional plastic, which is why all our drinks are either in glass bottles, aluminum cans, or on draft. So the next time you go to throw away the packaging from your meal, be sure to place it in the marked compost or recycling containers. Plastic free is the way to be! 🥪🍻💚

The Stamets has been on the menu for a week now and people are absolutely loving it! We think the chimichurri makes it but there is so much to love here! Roasted mushrooms, vegan cheese, chimichurri, savory mayo, shredduce, tomato and onion on a toasted hoagie! It's an absolute dream and we can't wait for you to try it if you haven't already! 🍄🍄🥪🥪

This one is a new mainstay on the menu and it's that classic deli sandwich so many folks have been asking for! You get your choice of protein: roast beef, turkey, ham or tofu with shredduce, swiss or vegan cheese, tomato, onion, roasted red pepper, hoagie sauce, red wine vinaigrette, and spice mix on Italian roll! You can even combine protein combinations or stack up to three to build that sandwich of your dreams!

For the last act of our anniversary weekend, we bring you two extra specials!

Micheladas! - ifkyk and if you don't just ask Carl... Yes it's vegan and yes it's delicious!

The Americano Classico! - Ham, turkey, roast beef, hoagie sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, pepper relish, hoagie spice, oil, and vin on ciabatta! Make it vegan with the house marinated tofu for a lights out deli sandwich!

Day two of our Anniversary celebration and it's the perfect time to get The Benji or The Jojo! These two will be leaving the menu for the season after the Anni weekend wraps up. Oh Boy Oi Oi, our Australian sparkling ale collab will return to the taps, mimosas will be available with bubbles pouring straight off the tap, and some unreal sandwich specials are sure to make for an incredible celebration! The Darlene - roast pork, sauteed greens, and savory mayo on toasted Italian (vegan with roasted sweet potato and vegan cheese).

The Deli Boi - Thin sliced mortadella, melted provolone, dijionnaise, onion, and pepper relish on a toasted hoagie.

The Mumbai (V) - Roasted potatoes, tomato, cucumber, onion, cilantro chutney, savory mayo, chat masala, and vegan cheese on Texas toast white.

It's almost our birthday! It's hard to believe our doors have been open for nearly two years. 🥲 We will be closed Monday, June 10th to celebrate as a staff, but leading up to that on the 7th, 8th and 9th you can expect some fun specials from behind the bar and in the kitchen!
