IMPORTANT UPDATE 😢🍟👇🏽

After this weekend (3/24), Sauce’d will no longer be serving fries. Unfortunately, this decision was not ours - we are at the mercy of the state.

A law was passed on October 2, 2023, by the state of North Carolina, that stated we (as a bar) are to stop food sales effective March 27, 2024 or take the proper steps to legally become a full-service restaurant. While that sounds like a simple solution, unfortunately it’s not that easy. There are several steps that would need to be taken on our end including financial implications and internal/organizational changes that would need to be made in order to make this shift, and after careful consideration, we decided against it.

It was never our intention to become a restaurant, we were always meant to be a cocktail lounge with a killer snack. It’s incredibly frustrating and upsetting that we, along with dozens of other local establishments (and hundreds - if not thousands - across the state) are being put in this position, however, it is truly out of our hands.

We have loved every second of being the dynamic, dual concept that we are, and it’s been an honor to be NC’s first and only cocktail lounge and fry bar. 🫶🏽

Moving forward, our hope is that we will continue to surprise and delight with what we have in store for the future of Sauce’d.

THIS Saturday (3/23), we’re partnering up with to bring back the Dove - with a twist, by utilizing their Hibiscus + Grapefruit-infused Tequila! 🌺

We will be offering FREE mini dove samples (starting at 5PM) and the full size martini will be available for purchase. So come on by, say hello and grab a free (delicious!) sample on the house and experience the infamous Dove in all her glory! 🕊
