August means back-to-school and a school lunch just isn’t complete without an oatmeal cream pie for dessert. So you know what we did: we made a sweet cream ice cream and then added tons of chopped up oatmeal cream pies. Available now at all shops and online for Nationwide Shipping!

The downside of back-to-school season: those extra early wake up times and that first week of drop off car lines. The upside? Boombalatti’s Back-to-School lineup, of course! First up is my personal favorite of the three: PB&J
We make a JIF Creamy Peanut Butter ice cream (cause y’all know choosy dads choose JIF) and then swirl in a ribbon of Smuckers Strawberry Jam (with a name like Smuckers, it has to be good.)
We made a vegan version of this one as well, so swing on by!

Every year COOKIE DOUGH is one of our most popular flavors. Every year we’re not the least bit surprised.

CAROLINA BEACH • 2025
After last week’s announcement we thought you might like a little more detail. We’ll be setting up shop in the brand new center in front of the Publix on North Lake Boulevard. We’ll be joining lots of our favorite brands and restaurants like [redacted] and [redacted] and of course, [redacted]. (But honestly, we don’t want to steal anyone’s thunder so we’re staying mum until they all make their own announcements.) We’re hoping to open in the spring of 2025 and we will be bringing the same handcrafted ice cream you enjoy at our other three shops including plenty of vegan and gluten free flavors. Yes, we will be hiring scoopers and managers for this shop! Our application is always available on our website and we plan to begin training at our Forum location in February of 2025.

It’s wet and messy outside. You know what else is wet and messy? A root beer float. Don’t you deserve a root beer float today?

CAROLINA BEACH • 2025

Nothing better than starting the weekend with pastry. For us that means a couple scoops of Cannoli with a cup of cold brew on the side. Ricotta ice cream kicked up with cinnamon and orange oil layered with crushed cannoli shells and mini chocolate chips. It’s based on the cannoli recipe from the Italian restaurant Kristen’s aunt owned in Ocala Florida in the 90s. We hope you love it!

More summer merch! We’re calling this design “Tropical Vibes” because obvi. Kristen wanted a shirt that reminded her of the Stüssy, Ocean Pacific and Billabong tees that she’d always beg for during California vacations in the 90s. We think Lauren nailed it!

STRAWBERRY PRETZEL PIE

Our newest summer favorite is back in all shops! We first discovered this concoction at the dessert table at family cookouts. We’ve encountered a few different versions in the decades since so our version starts with a cream cheese ice cream, adds a ripple of strawberry jam and then finishes it off with a crumble made of buttery, salted pretzels. THE SUMMER OF DRIZZLE
Listen, when our new besties reached out about collaborating together there was no way we were gonna say no. They’ve got the best olive oil in the game and we’d like to think we’ve got the best ice cream in the game (feel free to stroke our ego in the comments) so how could this go wrong? We invited our dude over for a little photo sesh and he took one little nibble and his eyes got all big and we had one of those moments where we locked eyes and we both knew. This is it. Ice cream perfection. Think we’re lying? Swing by any of our shops this summer and add a drizzle of Graza and a sprinkle of Maldon sea salt to your ice cream with no extra charge. You’ll be a believer in no time.

We kick things off with a toasted marshmallow ice cream, add chocolate covered graham cracker chunks and then throw in some extra mini-marshmallows because you can never actually have enough of them. The best part? There’s no campfire needed so this is a perfect rainy-day flavor!
