Four incredible years ago, the ever-so-talented Kristin Jackson-Bowen joined our WENH family. Over the last year, she has passionately led as the Director of Launcher, West End's entrepreneur training program.
Kristin says, āAt Launcher, we say our entrepreneurs are the best part of the job! As a small business owner myself, Iām passionate about working with others to support them in fulfilling their dream of entrepreneurship. It's not easy to start a business on your own, but our Launcher Alumni community is strong!ā
Under Kristin's guidance, the Launcher Alumni community has grown not just in numbers, but also in strength and spirit.

Congratulations to the Above Xpectations Track & Field team on your outstanding results at the AAU Track and Field Club Championships. We are very proud of our coaches and our athletes bringing their A game!
This morning, our Above Xpectations Track & Field team headed off to Florida to compete in the AAU Club Championships, which they won for the first time in 2022, and nearly defended their title last year, finishing third overall, with about 400 teams/4,000 athletes).

Yesterday was a bittersweet Family Reunion, as we gathered to celebrate our friends and long-time family members, Ruth Blackwell and Sheila Hawkins, who are moving onto their next adventures. ā¤ļø Many of our staff shared some of their favorite moments (truly tears of sadness and joy).
We also were able to help one of our Launcher businesses, Lottieās Soul Food Experience, who provided the amazing food.
To Sheila and Ruth, thank you for everything you've done , and for our staff and customers! We love you and we will miss you! šš
