Here's what we know so far:

Since about 2:30 a.m. this morning, Wilson County started getting tornado warnings. An active tornado touched down just prior to 3:00 a.m. Springfield Middle School in Lucama was heavily damaged. In the vicinity of Wiggins Mills Road and Lloyd Road in Lucama, there have been 4 houses confirmed with structural damage, as well as Friendship Primitive Baptist Church in Lucama.

First responders are currently assessing damages. Please avoid these areas as crews continue to assess. There are also multiple trees and power lines down.
