November is COPD Awareness Month

Come out and see the Mega Lungs 🫁 this weekend!

We've heard lots of talk about lung health over the last year and a half, but do you actually know what the inside of your lungs looks like? You can get an inside view at the MEGA Lungs, Wilson Medical Center's newest attraction!

The MEGA Lungs exhibit is the world’s only inflatable, walk-through pair of lungs, displaying the delicate inner-­workings of the respiratory system's most critical organs, while also teaching how to maintain lung health. Showcasing various respiratory conditions like asthma, bronchitis, lung cancer, pneumonia, and emphysema informs MEGA Lung visitors about the importance of staying healthy.
