Cooling it today
Sunny is by the fans. We have two 36 inch belt-driven fans running in the barn all summer.

Sunny loves to stand in front of them and block that breeze LOL

Dreamer loves his hay bed; he rests in the heat

I have some organic fly spray that works, as far as I can tell, but they dislike it and will leave when I bring it out, even if I have it on a cloth or paper towel to apply it...

I keep the barn as clean as I can!!! We do cleaning every day, lately 2x a day!

The boys do way better in the cold than they do in this heat. Cold doesn't bother them at all!!!

My sunshine daydream boy!
I gave him a remote session yesterday, this is right after his session.
His sacrum was jammed up and his cranial bones needed releasing. After that, his energy flowed nicely through his body!
Sunny's right nostril gets stopped up and he huffs and puffs and snorts to clear it, maybe this will help. Could be!

The beginning and end of my day yesterday

I was blown away by the size of my white rose of Sharon and its enormous cupped blooms ( bumblebees also enjoy them!). At day's end, a gray-phase screech owl came to light on my trellis. They love my fountain; I hear them at night. They have a comforting call sound, not always a screech! And even the "screech" is soothing. Creating habitat is always a good way to go! It's the only way, for me!!

Rain heading my way but not there yet! We had quite a downpour at the barn this evening!

A very lovely cow-loving client brought 2 magnificent Wegmans watermelons for the big boys' summer dinners. All wrapped up with a bow and a card for Sunny and Dreamer! I mean, that is the best watermelon I have ever tasted! It was superb! I get to taste their food while I section it and prepare it. Irresistible! They say THANK YOU, Linda! Come see us!

2 kinds of to***co plants thrive in my new garden, happily for me neither interests the deer. I water every other day since we are so dry, they are beautiful performers in stature and blossom! Bumble bees are all over them. The little green to***co is for ceremony this Sept at the farm. I am so happy she is doing so well! They all have been great associates all summer long
