🏰✨ Little Imagineers at work! Our young engineers designed and built Rapunzel's escape from the tower using classroom materials.
With each twist and turn, they encountered obstacles and found innovative solutions, proving that with teamwork and imagination, anything is possible! 🌈💪 And in the end, Rapunzel was finally set free, thanks to the brilliance of our little imagineers! 🌟👸

🤹‍♂️🎨 Today, our little innovators embarked on an exciting journey into the world of levers and motion at our STEAM Preschool! 🤹‍♀️🔍 Using nothing but tape, marker caps, and popsicle sticks, they turned ordinary objects into tools of discovery.

🎯 First, they ingeniously attached marker caps to the table using tape, creating stable bases for their popsicle stick levers. With a swift press on one side, they marveled as the other side lifted – just like a see-saw in action! 🖌️👏

🚀 But the fun didn't stop there! Adding a pom pom to one end of the stick, they experimented with force and distance. With a quick push, they observed how far the pom pom could travel, learning about the principles of motion and energy. 💨🏃‍♂️

Our Dr Seuss parade was so much fun. We learn all week about Dr Seuss and dance to the different songs.

Last week, every classroom at our school celebrated Black History Reading. Our preschoolers immersed themselves in the inspiring stories of African American Heroes, making it a truly remarkable week of learning. A heartfelt THANK YOU to all the parents who graced us as guest readers and our amazing Director! 🙌🏽👏🏾

February is Dental Health Month. Today we had the amazing dental hygienist come in and teach our young minds about keeping healthy teeth. We learn how to brush, how many times to brush and even learn about flossing. Thank you to the staff of for coming in. Also, we got treats. A goodie bag with a toothbrush, toothpaste, mini salt timer and a few stickers. We had the birthday girl dress up as the dentist & a patient. 🦷🪥

Today our amazing students celebrated Lunar year of the dragon. At the parade we strolled waving our dragons and 2024 signs. In the classrooms students created a paper mask dragon or a red paper cup. This is the year of the dragon. Amazing families thank you for coming and celebrating with us. 🐲🐉❤️

Diving deeper into our animal-themed month, students engaged in an interactive session of "Animal Motions." 🎉 Using two oversized dice featuring various animals, we rolled the dice and invited our students to mimic the motions of the creatures it landed on. 🎲👧👦

From hopping like kangaroos to soaring like owls, slithering like snakes, and walking like crabs, our little learners had a blast while enhancing their gross motor skills. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ This lively game not only got them moving but also expanded their understanding of the unique movements different animals make. 🌍🔍 🐨🦉🐍🦀

Today's math adventure: Butterfly Symmetry!

We chatted with the kids about symmetry—where two parts mirror each other perfectly. Imagine drawing a line down the middle, and voila! Each side is a twin. 🤩🦋

For hands-on fun, we gave the little ones half a butterfly outline to complete. 🎨✂️ Armed with pompoms and beads, they glammed up their butterflies with vibrant colors! 🌈🦋 An activity that not only sparks creativity but also hones precision and fine motor skills. 🖌️👏 🌟👦

🎨🦓 Today, our young artists unleashed their creativity by recalling their favorite animals and bringing them to life on paper! 🖍️✨ Introducing the "Hide and Seek" Creatures—each uniquely designed and classified as either a vertebrate (mammal, reptile, amphibian, bird, etc.) or an invertebrate (insect). 🦋🐍 Using rocks as their canvas, they sketched and colored their chosen creatures with vibrant markers. 🎨🌿 The final touch? Camouflaging their creations! 🌳🔍 Next stop: hiding these imaginative beings around our school grounds for an outdoor adventure. 🌈🏫 🌟👧👦

Our wonderful threes; today we celebrated “Animal Hat Day” each student created their own animal hat with their favorite animal.
