Ms. Geib taught a coding lesson to two kindergarten classrooms during her visit with Teresa Jacobs yesterday. She thanked Ms. Geib for all her hard work in the media center.

SPE Eagle Bucks Store will be open during Spring Festival. Students can bring their eagle bucks to purchase prizes.

A big congratulations to our Sunset Park Elementary chess club for showing up, staying focused and holding their own this past Saturday at a district wide tournament. A special shout out to Lorenzo and Yi who made it to the top ten! Though they didn’t receive a trophy, they showed perseverance and determination and competed with the best of their ability against the top students in the tournament.

We’re looking forward to our final tournament this April!
