We were blessed in abundance this morning at our 2023 Preschool Christmas Program! We sure missed a few of the children who were out sick today 💜 All of our donkeys, sheep, cows, angles, shepherds, innkeepers, Mary and Joseph did an amazing job!! We are so proud of you!l and thankful to all of our parents for providing their costumes!

Hi VFBTC friends and families! Please help us spread the word about our openings. We are looking for a few families to join Vernon Forest! Our Preschool Half-day program is from 8am-12pm Monday-Friday with openings for children who are three or four years of age, not attending kindergarten next fall. Our Afterschool openings are for Wallburg and Friendship Elementary School students and includes the option for Daycare Days over the holidays or public school teacher workdays. Call us today to schedule a tour :)

🚒 We loved having the Wallburg Fire Department with us today at Vernon Forest! These gentleman are so kind and patient with the children each time they come. We appreciate all that they do and sacrifice to keep our community Safe!! The children had a blast! 😍

Genny Johnson has been moved to Summerston Rehab Centeer in Kernersville for a time of Rehab from her stroke.

Pray for Roger Maurer to be able to go home today from the hospital!

Our Story

The mission of the Vernon Forest Baptist Training Center (VFBTC) is to: “Reach families, to teach children, and to Love God.” In short, we want to “REACH, TEACH, LOVE.” The goal of the Training Center is to first make sure that we are Reaching, Teaching, and Loving God with the staff here at Vernon Forest. By reaching the staff first, the staff at the VFBTC is then able to accomplish this mission by teaching the Word of God to students and by not being ashamed of the Gospel of Christ. VFBTC desires to love on each family that comes to our school, because the staff here understand that Christ showed his love for people by dying on the cross and rising from the dead for them.

The goals of the Training Center are to minister to the spiritual, educational, physical, social, and emotional needs of the children in our community. Our preschool and kindergarten curriculum includes hands-on lessons that teach children how to think, grow, and live biblically. The Training Center also has an after school care proved for Wallburg, Friendship Elementary Schools, and Oak Grove Middle School, as well as a summer daycare program. The Training Center is a ministry of Vernon Forest Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor James M. Brown.
