“The teaching during my week here was amazing, especially about prayer. Revival in prayer. I came here not expecting what happened this week. It uplifted my faith. I would recommend anybody to come here. I didn’t realize how weak in faith I was with my prayer life! It was so strengthening for me, realizing, ‘Wow, I don’t pray to a holy God as I should.’ Like, I felt convicted after this week of prayer and evangelism and how to actually really truly do it. That was awesome for my faith.
“I had a few good evangelistic experiences while being at the Chapel. It’s been great watching the staff, how they’ve been training all summer, and then going out and evangelizing. It's been an encouragement to me to see how strong their evangelism is. It’s been giving me the desire to also have that strong will to be able to approach somebody.
“One of the best experiences was with a guy the other night. We had him read Scripture, and when he read Scripture, it was so profound. It warmed my heart. He was like, ‘Wow, that just touched my heart.’ The Word of God is really powerful. It was Ephesians 2:1-10. He was saying, ‘Oh, I’ve done some good works and stuff,’ but scripture answered every question that he was asking or that he was saying about himself, how he was a good person and how he could get to heaven.”
Praise the Lord for the encouragement that both training and evangelism practice can be in the life of the Christian!

"This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." 1 John 1:5-10
