I’m a mom, a wife, a volunteer, a coach, a manager. It’s a lot of responsibilities. And with doing so many things i love, I put my training on the back burner.
But in order to achieve my goals, I know I need to kick it back into overdrive again.
So this is my self- motivational post. I know I have it in me. I know I have the ability to do all the things without overdoing it.

My goal is to post more workouts to share, start doing some fitness instruction and teaching classes, and to continue to just soak up all the knowledge and skills I can.

So stay tuned. A lot more is coming and I hope you’ll stick around with me. I’m here to continue to work hard on myself and to help others with their goals too. I’m putting in the work. Thanks for supporting me. Even a little like on my posts means a lot.

Our school suffered a tragedy this week with the sudden tragic loss of a beautiful 3rd grader, Stella DuPont. The school has set up a fund for donations and 100% of the proceeds will go to Stella’s family.

Hey local friends! Come by and see me this Saturday! I’m doing double duty and holding down the AND tents! Plus I’m helping some awesome Girl Scouts collect some clean/gently used kids Halloween costumes to donate to kids in foster care.

Stop by and say hi, have your kids hold some yoga/isometric poses for prizes, supply me with coffee…you know, all those fun things!

Amping up my fitness knowledge and ability…and loving every minute of it.

Is it easy? Of course not.
Is it worth it? 100% yes.

Fridays are for Thunder…Hot Thunder that is.

Ever have one of those moments where everything else in the world is quiet. A moment where your stress, anxiety, worries, etc…all just melt away?

Had one of those last night. We were at EPCOT checking out the amazing new experience “Journey of Water” (which is stunning by the way). As we walked out of that area, it started pouring rain. I mean POURING. We we’re going to make a mad dash for the parking lot. Instead? We jumped in huge puddles. We ran around the empty entrance area while everyone else was huddling for cover. I don’t think we missed any puddle in that area. We splashed each other. We felt like we had the park to ourselves.

It’s moments like those, that remind me what is important. It’s a simple action of singing and dancing in the rain with my family.
It’s hugging my “getting too old for public hugs…4th grader”, it’s telling the kids “you didn’t stomp in that puddle yet” rather than me being concerned about their soaking wet shoes. It was acting like a kid in the most Magical Place on Earth.

So it’s moments like that…where I remember why I work so hard to keep my health in check. I don’t want to miss those moments. I don’t want to miss core memories. I will continue to work hard in myself mentally and physically to be able to share in these moments.

So the next time your caught in a crazy rainstorm, I highly recommend jumping in the puddles. Even in your brand new shoes 😜.
