Throughout my 2 years of making Toppers and other crafts for sale, I’ve met hundreds, maybe even a thousand people, some of whom I now call my friends.
Recently, I had one gentleman come back (he lost my contact and somehow found me again and was overly excited he did) for more Toppers, telling me my Toppers were the best he’s had made, even better than Pair’s themselves!
That made my heart (and who am I kidding, my head as well!) very happy and quite large💜
He refuses to pay my price for Toppers, but quite a bit more, saying it’s my tip for such amazing work!🥹
Through countless messages, we branched out into deeper conversations about ourselves and our lives.
We’ve talked about a whole variety of topics. We found out we share titanium rods and screws in common from surgeries. He’s in late stages of kidney failure and doesn’t want to go on the transplant list. He doesn’t have a girlfriend or anyone to “live for” and even told me when he was in the hospital for a month, no one visited. Empathetic me, of course, while crying told him I cared and that I’m the type of person that loves everyone until given a reason not to. He said that put a smile on his face. He likes to relate his life experiences to Deadpool, while my brother used to call me Wolverine due to my rods in my back. I find it hilarious that in the new Deadpool movie, Deadpool and Wolverine are ’best friends’ and my new friend and I just so happen to share those exact 2 characters in our lives. Coincidence?🤔
Everything happens for a reason.
I’m so thankful for the journey that Skeleton Keyes Boutique has taken me on.
