This Sunday WDC’s production of “Reflections” will open with the ballet “Steadfast Tin Soldier”. This heart warming story of a paper-doll and a toy soldier is a character ballet by George Balanchine based on a 1838 fairytale that has entertained audiences for generations. WDC is excited to share this ballet with our audience members and families.

WDC is excited to celebrate the conclusion of its 20th season at “Reflections” this Sunday. Each dancer has worked hard in preparation to take the stage and we look forward to sharing their growth and love for dance with our audience.

Presale reserved tickets are on sale through Saturday 6/8 from our website. Ticket prices increase at the door and only general admission seats will be available.

Our last regional competition of the season was filled with smiles, support, and some silliness. To our dancers, your growth this season has been amazing to watch. To our WDC family, thank you for all of the support you give this team. To our director, staff and choreographers, thank you for sharing your passion and experience with our dancers.

Thank you to the National Dance Foundation and Washington Wizards for the amazing performance opportunity to perform center court! The WDC Youth Performing Group enjoyed every moment and are honored to help spread the message.

Today our dancers had the privilege of performing for the residents and families of Arbor Terrace. Performing within our community and spreading arts enrichment is just one facet of WDC’s mission and we love our dancers commitment to sharing their talents.
