Five Oaks Kid's Ministry

Did you know Five Oaks Kids has over 200 volunteers who serve? Each weekend we have between 50-60 individuals who step up to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our youngest Five Oakers. Last night we celebrated them and had some time of connection. We are looking forward to another great year!! ❤️

It's our last day of FCA but we are soaking up every moment!

On Day 4 of VBS we learned that God wants to be our friend forever! We can't wait to spend eternity with him!
19 kids made commitments to Jesus this week! That is something to truly celebrate.
We also raised almost $1600 for missions in Panama! A huge thank you to everyone for an amazing week!! 🫶🏼

Everything went swimmingly on Day 3 of VBS. We learned about how Jesus died for us and wants to live with us forever. Even though the things of this world will come to an end, thank you God for being our forever friend!

While VBS has us busy all morning, our afternoons are filled with our 4th-7th graders enjoying a week of FCA Sports Camp! Check out FCA East Metro Twin Cities MN for more daily updates!

At Day Two of VBS we dove into exploring friendship and God's love. We learned how God forgave Jonah when he made the wrong choice. God still gave him another chance. Thank you God for loving us!

Today on Day One of VBS we dove right into friendship with God. We learned that in the same way we can’t see the air but still know it’s real, we can’t see God but still know he’s real. Thanks God for being our friend who is real!

We had a great time last Friday at during our 5th grade escape room! It's exciting to see our next group of students! 😊

We had some live teaching today courtesy of Dan Eggum. Make sure to ask your kids every time what they learned. Not all kids will share, but they are all learning important truths each week. ❤️

Whether you’re dealing with mental health, want to grow as a spiritual leader in your home, want to be prepared to have intentional conversations about sexuality and body changes, or are preparing for college and the many options for paying, applying, and attending; we will have live teaching, discussion, and Q&A for each breakout. Day 2 of VBS and we’re having a blast! 🚀

VBS starts one week from today!! ❤️ We had amazing help making fun decor for VBS -- now we need a bit of help setting it up this week. Join us Thursday and/or Friday from 9:00 to noon. Kids and students are also welcome!

Last night we had a great time at our Kids Leader Appreciation & Training. Around 100 of our volunteers were able to attend. We continually pray that our volunteers feel appreciated, supported and filed by the Spirit. We couldn't do ministry without them. ❤️

Did you know we have a check in station by the gym? Thanks to Patrick Ranweiler we also have a new cart. 🎄

We hosted another fun 5th grade event last Friday! 🎄
These events have been a lot of fun and help the 5th graders make connections before they join Students next year. Our next event will be snow tubing in January with other Students. ❄️

We would love to have you join us tonight for another fun Advent service at 4:30. The kids will be practicing tonight their song that they will sing the start of Advent next week. We hope to see you there! Kids are still welcome to sing next week even if they miss rehearsal tonight.
