The WYC started as a partnership between youth and adults. It would charge no fees for membership or programs.

The Worcester Youth Center (WYC) is an educational, recreational, and social facility for youth between the ages of 14 and 24, a place where youth are empowered and allowed to grow in all aspects of their lives. Today Earth Day was observed in the City of Worcester. Thanks to the Worcester Rugby Community, Worcester County Conservation District, Regional Environmental Council and members of the Worcester Youth Center, we were able to clear debris out of the rain and vegetable gardens. Now that the are prepared, we look to start planting flowers and vegetables over the next few weeks. ☀️🤝😄🍅
