Green Island Neighborhood Center is mourning the news of the passing of Lorraine Laurie. We have lost an exemplary pillar who always looked out for the welfare of Green Island and her efforts and dedication for so many years have been of great impact to the families in this community. As a voice advocating for her people, she leaves us today with a great legacy. Lorraine, you will be missed.🕊️

Myrtle St. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, March 13 at 10am in St. John's Church. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.

Registration for our 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Distribution 2023, Sponsored by Tufts Health Plan opens on Monday.
Stop by during our bussiness hours M-F 9am-4pm.

It’s that time of year when we all slow down a bit to appreciate the colorful leaves, the crispness in the air, and the delicious pumpkin spice aroma.
But more than that we’re taking time to be thankful for all the good things in our lives and spreading that goodness by helping others.
Today we are extremely thankful to have these wonderful youth from GROW Christian Learning Center lending a hand in our center.
They helped sort clothing donations, deep cleaned our food pantry, made copies, and organized our kitchen cabinets and bookshelves.
With the care and compassion they possess our future is looking really bright!
