The heat may have you down now, but we promise you that fall is just around the corner! Save the date and plan to join us for our all-new Dodd PTA Holiday Vendor Fair and Garage Sale on Nov. 9th from 8-2pm in the front Dodd parking lot (will be moved indoors in the case of inclement weather). We are looking for local vendors and individuals to set up and participate at this event. Booth spots are $25 each (please see the flyer for more info).

Tomorrow is our first Wellness Wednesday of the school year!

On Wednesday we will:

-wear tennis shoes

-wear athletic, school appropriate clothes

-bring a healthy snack to school

-get in extra steps and movement throughout the day

-drink water

We are so excited to be healthy and show our healthy habits together!

Arjun is a new Dino this year, but he heard that it is Dodd Elementary’s 25th Anniversary and wanted to make something to help us celebrate!
Save the date- September 20th we will have an Open House Showcase and Celebration from 5:30-7:30 PM! ❤️🦖

📣 This super fun Open House is TONIGHT!!!

🏕️ If your kids (boys and girls!) have interest in joining Cub Scouts please come to Pack 5150's OPEN HOUSE!

⏰ Beginning at 7pm at 📍Wylie United Methodist Church (1401 Country Club Road), we will have a bunch of Cub Scout activities for your potential scout to try out including:
⛵️ Raingutter Regatta (building boats and racing them!)
🎣 Backyard Bass (Fishing/Learning to Cast)
🍫 S'Mores making
🤕 AND making first aid kits.

⚜️ Leaders will be on-hand to answer any questions you may have about our pack or even just Cub Scouts in general! If we are not a good fit for your family we are happy to help you find a pack that is!

🏕️ Come check us out and see what an amazing family-oriented program we have! Get those kids off their devices and enjoying activities that will build skills that will serve them their entire lives. Can't wait to meet you!

🎉 Congrats to Sheppard and Crystal Storey for being our Silent Auction Winners (last spring) for the "First to Play on the new Dodd Playground" experience! Our playground is finally completed and ready to go, so they were able to go out this morning to enjoy playing with friends on the new equipment. They got to enjoy a yummy pizza lunch afterwards! They give our new playground 10 stars!!!!

We hope y’all had the best time and we are so grateful for your support!! 🦖❤️

Our Dodd PTA hosted a Welcome Back Membership lunch for our amazing Dodd Staff Members today! We so appreciate the support of our Dino teachers and staff members for all things PTA! They go above and beyond for all our dino students, and we are blessed to be able to love on them right back! ❤️ 🦕
