A man and two women hid three pairs of sunglasses in a baby stroller and walked out of Sunglass Hut, located in the Smith Haven Mall, at approximately 6:10 p.m. on October 23. The merchandise was valued at $1,192.

Wanted for Greenlawn Grand Larceny

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole a package from delivery driver in Greenlawn.

A man approached a FedEx driver in front of a Geneva Place residence and pretended to be the intended recipient of an iPhone 15 Pro Max on November 8 at approximately 1:20 p.m. When the driver asked the man for identification, the man stole the package from the driver’s hands.

The suspect was described as Hispanic, between 20 and 25 years old, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and 180 pounds. He fled in a red four-door sedan.

Wanted for Holbrook Robbery

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred at a Holbrook grocery store.

A man passed all points of sale at Stop and Shop, located at 57-01 Sunrise Highway, with approximately $225 worth of Tide PODS on October 29 at approximately 9 p.m. An employee confronted the suspect in the parking lot and the suspect punched the employee and threatened to stab him.

The suspect, who was described as Black, approximately 6 feet 4 inches tall, and between 25 and 35 years old, fled in a four-door sedan with an orange license plate.

Wanted for Assault, Criminal Contempt
and Endangering the Welfare of a Child

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Southampton Town Police Department detectives are seeking the public’s help to locate the woman who assaulted a woman and pushed the victim’s child in October.

Ligia Lopez Menendez, 37, went to the Riverside residence of a known female, pushed the woman’s child and struck the woman in the head with a hammer on October 30. The victim had an order of protection against Lopez Menendez. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries and her child was not injured.

Lopez Menendez is Hispanic, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and 160 pounds with long brown hair. She has ties to Flanders, Riverside and Hampton Bays.

A 30-yard dumpster was stolen from outside Advance Service Center, located at 360 East Jericho Turnpike, on November 9 at approximately 6 p.m. The suspect fled with the dumpster on a flatbed truck. The dumpster was valued at approximately $8,000.

Wanted for Ronkonkoma Leaving the Scene

Fast Cash Reward Offered For Arrest

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the driver who fled the scene after killing a pedestrian in Ronkonkoma last year.

Robert Twiford, pictured below, parked his vehicle on the off ramp of eastbound Long Island Expressway at exit 60, exited the vehicle, and while in the lane of travel, was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene on December 5, 2022 at approximately 8 p.m. A short time later, the driver of the fleeing vehicle stopped at Garrity Avenue in Ronkonkoma and exited his vehicle and examined it with a flashlight. The vehicle was described as a light-colored, possibly gray, 2015 to 2018 Ford Focus hatchback.

Twiford, 61, of Melville, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A fast cash reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest. The reward will be issued within seven days of an arrest.

Wanted for Medford Robbery

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate three people who stole from a Medford store last month.

Two men and a woman stole more than $4,500 in merchandise, including more than $3,000 worth of Mackage winter jackets. During the incident one of the suspects displayed a knife when confronted by store management. They fled in what appears to be a black Nissan or Infiniti sedan with aftermarket rims.

The suspect was seen exiting what appeared to be an older model Dodge Charger prior to committing the burglary.

The women fled in a gray Kia Soul, possibly with Connecticut license plates.

Wanted for Melville Grand Larceny

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate three people who stole a wallet from a purse in Melville in October.

A man was distracting a staff member at La Piazza, located at 512 Walt Whitman Road, when a male and female stole a wallet from a purse, that contained cash and credit cards, which was hanging from a chair on October 21 at approximately 3 p.m. The credit cards were later used at Best Buy and Apple in Huntington Station.

Wanted for Central Islip Reckless Endangerment

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to locate the man who fired shots into a Central Islip residence in October.

On October 16 at approximately 1 a.m., Joseph Bunce fired shots into the door of his ex-girlfriend’s residence, located on Irving St. No one was injured. Bunce, 35, who is on parole, has ties to Wyandanch, Copiague, Central Islip and Oakdale.

Wanted for Huntington Station Menacing

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who threatened a store employee during an attempt to steal merchandise from a Huntington Station store.

A man attempted to steal clothing from Saks Fifth Avenue, located at 230 Walt Whitman Road, on November 13 at approximately 4:30 p.m. An employee attempted to stop the man, who then threatened the employee with a knife. The suspect dropped the clothing and fled in a black Nissan Sentra.

Wanted for Lake Grove Public Lewdness

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify the man who committed a lewd act in a Lake Grove store earlier this year.

A man entered a fitting room at Old Navy, 2089 Smith Haven Mall, on September 4 and stayed in the room for an extended period of time, leaving the door slightly ajar. A female employee went to check on the man and he was committing a lewd act.
